Meera had observed other students running through the gardens, over plants and stepping on the greenery. She had thought of a number of ideas to stop this from happening but decided on one that would mean a bit of work on her behalf. In her letter to me, Meera described that she felt that children needed to be reminded of the importance of looking after our plants and gardens. She suggested that a poster appealing to her peers to stay on the pathways and to remain off the garden, would help children remember to do this. The resultant poster has been designed, illustrated and written with clear messages for all to remind them of their responsibility to look after our grounds. Thank you Meera for showing such pride in Featherbrook College. You have shown our school value of high expectations and collaboration!
