Term 2 Resumes – Numeracy Takes Centre Stage

23.04.21

Our young mathematicians were challenged to create, prisms, pyramids and cubes to name a few 3D shapes. Teacher Ms Doris Camilleri shared that the students were highly engaged and it is clear from the students’ responses to their teacher, that the hands-on activity did indeed capture their interest, curiosity and willingness to take learning risks:

“ I have created a Cube and it’s a pop out shape”.

“I thought this was so much fun because we got to use playdough and sticks to make 3D shapes “.

"I know that this shape has faces edges and vertices".

“This playdough is so Sticky!”

Well done 1G!!
