The students in year 1 have created a collaborative recreation of the Starry Night. Students learnt about the artist Van Gogh and all the art elements that are present in his artworks. Each student was given an A4 piece of paper to create a small section of this famous artwork. There are over 100 students in year 1 and their masterpiece measures at a huge 2.4m height and 3.3m in width. To complete the mural, students contrasted warm and cool colours, as well as blending techniques with water colour paint. What a mighty effort!
