At our school we are dedicated to creating a community which supports people through challenging times. The school seeks to promote and encourage our students and families to stay safe, be active and to stay connected with each other.
This year more than ever it is so important to check in on each other and to ask the question 'are you ok?' It seems so simple and yet can make a big difference to someone's day.
Our college shared some ideas for students and their families to enjoy in light of the importance of R U OK Day. It is great to know that some of the ways our students enjoyed today was by painting or drawing sunshine themed creations; enjoying some ‘Happy Dancing; mind mapping their social network and going for a nature walk.
Thanks to many of our Featherbrook College families who took time today to check in with colleagues, friends and family to ask ‘R U OK today.
