National Reconciliation Week

29.05.20

What is National Reconciliation Week? National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia..

Students in years 5 and 6 were learning about the meaning of National Reconciliation Week this week, which is held each year from 27th May. The students drew inspiration from their learnings to recreate their interpretations (above) and the messages that NRW affords our country, uniting us and celebrating our diversity and the strength of many joining in unity and reconciliation.
