House Cross Country Competition

06.03.20

How very fortunate we were today as our planned House cross country was not stymied by the potential of inclement weather. The clouds parted and the sun shone through as our runners lined up in their respective groupings.

Representing Geranium (Red), Eucalyptus (Green), Banksia (Blue) and Acacia (Yellow), the students ran, jogged, power walked and sprinted at times to make their way around the cross country track, the perimeter of the wetlands. A beautiful setting for this event, the environment was inviting for such a group, yet individual event. Congratulations to all of our competitors and an extra special acknowledgement to our students who all showed the school's values of being safe, demonstrating high expectations of themselves and being collaborative and encouraging others in their running endeavour. Congratulations to Acacia who came first place with 158 points; Geranium was second place with 155 points while Banksia and Eucalyptus achieved third and fourth place with 88 and 60 points respectively. .
