Children being treated for cancer illness are absent from school for long periods of time as they go through cancer treatment and recovery. Many have lost a lot of learning time by the time they return to school, they may become isolated from their friends and disengaged from their education.
All the money raised through Footy Colours Day funds Fight Cancer Foundation's education support programs for these children. By participating in Footy Colours Day, we are helping kids with cancer keep up with school while they receive and recover from treatment.
