Cricket Development Team Launch

Last Friday morning, bright and full of energy, the cricket development team members arrived at school at 8am, marking a commitment, whether it be rain, hail or shine, to turn up every week to build their cricketing skills ready for further inter-school competition later in term 3.

Following success in Term 1 interschool sports, this team of young cricketers was ultra-keen to build their individual and collective skills of batting, catching, bowling and cricket strategizing over the coming months in readiness to take on our neighboring schools in the next round of inter-school competitions. Our school values of collaboration and high expectations were evident and PE teacher Nicole Hamilton-Scott was most proud of the commitment shown by these students. Following the skill building session, the students enjoyed a hearty breakfast together and reflected on their first training session in readiness for next Friday.
