Budding Bakers; Mini Chefs


We are very fortunate at Featherbrook to have a state of the art Food Technology kitchen. Not only do our secondary students enjoy the facilities, but so do our primary students. The Year 3 / 4 students have been completing some of their learning specific to procedural text writing by applying the very purpose that underpins procedure and in this case, how to make muffins, step by step. If the proof is in the eating, then there was absolute proof that our students have a deep understanding of procedure. Chocolate chip muffins were baked and enjoyed by all, including teachers over the last few days. I can attest to their quality! Bon Appetite!
